Task 4: Language Development Goals
Task 3: Language & Culture Questionnaire
Task 2: Self Assessment of Language Proficiency |
So for the receptive part of the rubric, I gave myself a four because I am able to understand for the most part what someone says, but there are a lot of times where I just simply get lost and do not understand at all. I do understand all of the basic and advance parts of American Sign Language, it's just actually understanding it with a deeper meaning that gives me an issue.
I gave myself a three on the production part just because I usually have a hard time signing a sentence off the top of my head. I usually need a notice in advance of what I am talking about. I am able to carry out a conversation with a lot of people, but on my end it is always simple signs because I usually can't remember the sign that I want to use. I gave myself a four on the interactive part just because I've spent one and a half years actually studying the form of American Sign Language and its format, its just with all of the mixing up I get sometimes I am unable to really use the context to piece it together. But I know its style and format to the point where I could explain it if I had to. |
